The Year that was 2008

We started the New Year with lot of fun and frolic at Disney World Florida. New Year's eve was at Epcot center

April was Aditya's Brahmopadesham. Parents and In laws came from India and we did the ceremony at home with some close and nearby friends and family. It was a very a fulfilling experience.

In June Mala resigned her job at Cabot Microelectronics. We all went to India via Dubai.

While in India we toured around Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Mala and kids spent the summer in India mostly at Bangalore.

In August inlaws completed thier Kasi yatra and did a samaradhana

Back to US and School in Sept. Economy downturn starts.

Aditya joins band. He has chosen to learn the Baritone


First band conecert of 2008 for all 5th grade Band students in the district.
I start looking for a job again. I get rehired at CBOE.

October was very eventful with Navarathri and Diwali celebrations.

We visited Chandru and family at Cleveland.

I started work at CBOE on Oct 20th.

Halloween was fun this year.. We did pumpkin carving for the first time and it was a blast.

Thanksgiving in November was dedicated to Art of Living. Srinath did his 3rd part 2 course at the Lemont Temple with Tanuja Limaye (Tanu didi). Kids and I were seva volunteers for the course.

December was action packed with Adi's Singers and Band concert. Pranav's Birthday party and our anniversary celebrations.

New year's eve was fun at Rohini and Ravi Rade's place.
